UNDERSTANDING ISO 9001:2000
(QA 01)

The ISO 9000 Series is a generic quality system standards developed by the International Organization of Standardization. Thus, this course provides an initial preparation of the nature, purpose and principles of the ISO 9001:2000 standard.

Course Objectives:

  • To provide a clear understanding on the history of ISO, the different standard available and the quality definitions.

  • To assess the impact and prepare the organization for the new requirements.

  • Assist the participants in their understanding of the benefit of an ISO 9000 Quality management System in the organization.

This program creates an understanding of the principles of SEIRI, SEITON, SEISO, SEIKETSU and SHITKUSI and to examine hoe these practices can benefits the organization in achieving a quality environment.

This course teaches the fundamentals of statistical quality control, which cover the vital statistical quality control tools, required for process. Its usage would be aptly demonstrated in an improvement of reaction to process variations, inspection and manpower reduction and quality improvement.

QUALITY CONTROL CIRCLE (QCC)
(QA 09)

QCC consists of a small group of workers who volunteers to improve on work issue. They meet periodically to identify, analyze and solve problem at work. QC tools that are a set of statistical tools that are widely used for problem solving and process control. The QC are easy to learn and applied to work areas.
