ITiDi marked another milestone when it was
appointed as one of the Skills Upgrading Centre under the Skills Upgrading
Programme for Small and Medium Industries/Enterprises on March 31, 2003 by
SMIDEC. Under this Skill Upgrading Programme, ITiDi shall provide courses in
Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. SMIDEC shall finance 50% of the
training fees undertaken by Small and Medium Industries/Enterprises while
the balance can be claimed from the Human Resource Development Fund.
